Tee times are typically released beginning at 7PM four weeks before the round date.

Please check our CALENDAR page to confirm when tee times open up for the date you are interested in.  The calendar will also list how many members you can sign up for each event.

You must be a registered user on the Golf Genius (GG) system in order sign up for tee times, check the tee sheet and results.

New members will receive an email through the Golf Genius system with a registration invitation.  If you have previously used Golf Genius, you will be able to use your email and password to log in.  If you have never set up a password for Golf Genius, you will need to establish one and confirm your registration. Please contact Membership Director if you cannot locate the email.

You can sign up using the TPWGC Golf Genius Portal (tpwgc.golfgenius.com) on desktop or your phone OR the Golf Genius App.

You will have 3 different types of rounds that you can sign up for.  Each will begin with the same process :

Head to this link: TPWGC Portal. Choose “Sign In” and enter your email address and password. We DO NOT use GGID.

For regular Tuesday rounds at Torrey:

  1. Click on Sign Up and choose Tue Tee Times Sign-Up
  2. Pick the round that you want to sign up for. If you don’t see the round you are looking for, then the round has not been released for sign ups.
  3. Select a tee time.  Your name will be auto filled in the slot.  If a tee time is grayed out it means another member has already selected that slot. Select a different tee time.  If all times are grayed out it means that the round is full. If you see TBD in a slot, it means that another member is in the process of reserving that spot OR, if it’s a +1 or +3 round, the system is holding the extra spots until the reservation is confirmed.  Try refreshing to see if the spot was not used and now available for reservation.
  4. For rounds allowing for a member to sign up other members, click on Register another golfer.
  5. Select the player from the drop down list. DO NOT sign up other members without their permission. The system will hold the additional spots allowed for 15 minutes or until you confirm your reservation. Anyone found to be “holding” spots by choosing a member who did not ask you to sign her up will lose reservation privileges for 30 days .
  6. Click DONE.  You must click DONE to reserve the tee time.

If no tee times are available, email the Sweeps Director to be placed on a waiting list.

For Roam From Home Events

  1. Click on Special Events
  2. Click on the event you want to sign up for.
  3. Select the REGISTER NOW button on the event portal page.
  4. Fill out the registration form including payment information and submit.

It is VERY important that you use the same email address on the registration form as what we  have on file or your spot might not be saved even if payment is accepted.

You are only allowed to register yourself for Roam from Home events. You can list your pairing preferences on the registration form but pairings cannot be guaranteed. Please do not use your login credentials to try and register another member. Those found to break this rule will have their registration privileges suspended

If the event is full, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for a waiting list. Follow the instruction on the event portal to be added to the waiting list.

For Tournaments: 

  1. Click on Special Events
  2. Click on the tournament you want to sign up for.
  3. Click on the REGISTER NOW button on the tournament portal page.
  4. Fill out the registration form. For Partner tournaments, please provide the name of the member(s) that you will be partnering with. If you do not have a partner, please indicate so on the form.  The tournament managers will do their best to find you a partner.

Tournament tee times will be assigned based on the tournament format. Requests for specific tee times will not be accepted.

If the event is full, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for a waiting list. Follow the instruction on the tournament portal to be added to the waiting list.

How to cancel or modify a tee time

Cancel or modify before the sign up closing date:

PLEASE NOTE: Members are only allowed to cancel or modify HER OWN tee time.  If you signed up other members, those members will need follow to procedure below to cancel or modify their reservation, even if they gave you permission to sign them up.

  1. Sign in and find the round or event you need to cancel or modify
  2. Choose “Change Tee Time”, ‘Cancel Registration”, “Edit Registration” depending on the type of event and what you are trying to accomplish.

Cancel or modify tee time AFTER the sign up closing date:

Members may cancel or modify their tee times up until 7PM the Friday prior to the Tuesday event date. 

Cancellations after the deadline are considered a Late Cancellation and  must be done by sending an email before the start of play (the first tee time) to  SweepsTournaments or Events depending on the round type. Members who do not cancel their tee time reservation by the start of play will be considered a No Show. 

A member with 5 late cancellations or 3 no shows in a 12 month period will be suspended from play for 30 days. The member will be removed from the tee sheets and will not be allowed new tee time reservations during the suspension period.
